Hello perusers!  I'm a 30 something that will forever think she is 27.  My body tells me otherwise, but I'll continue to ignore the signs until I am forced to get body parts a knee or hip or something.  I've been married 7 years to a Nerd of a man.  He is what you would label as a "Fanboy" (Definition: A passionate fan of various elements of geek culture).  His element of choice - Star Wars, Star Trek, and Battlestar Galactica.  No super fan goes without an unhealthy collection to boot.  Yes, he's a hoarder - I mean collector. I know it's a shock, but his love for sci-fi wasn't what sold me.  My husband is also a high school art teacher and an amazing one at that.  I'm always so impressed with his artistic talent in the classroom and on canvas.   Granted, he paints nerd things sometimes, but it's a damn good nerd painting, lol.

We have a 5 year old son that never ceases to amaze me.  He is my heart.

I have an unhealthy addiction to technology.  Sadly, I know I am one of those tech robots aimlessly walking this earth with her nose in her phone, computer, Ipad, etc.  I'm sure Apple has a book of souls they own and I confidently can say I'm on that list of unfortunate souls.

I also LOVE food.  When I was younger I wanted to be a food critic Just so I could eat professionally.  I now know I would be the worst food critic because I'm really not a picky eater.  "I just had a food moment.  Absolutely decadent." - The new Burger King.  The food that has my heart is Asian food (specifically, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and Vietnamese)

I Love scary movies, but will only watch them during the day and usually alone.  I liked to be scared, but I also like to sleep.  Specifically, I love zombies.  Love me some zombies.

My ultimate dream in life is to travel, meet and connect with interesting people, and then jot it all down with a photo attached, but I have yet to devise a plan to make this a lucrative career path.  Everyday, I say to myself "Cristal.  You do not have a jet or tons of money.  Go to work." want to know about photography?

Honestly...I have no awe inspiring story for you...that may be why I just rambled on and on about myself :)  When it comes down to it, I just love it and I work hard to continually better myself.  Photography is an Art. I want to create a piece of art you deem worthy to hang on your wall...or at least some wallets, lol.  I love capturing a beautiful moment - whether it be a laugh, a look, a touch, it's what makes me happy and creates that warm feeling inside that I try so hard to suppress.  Kidding! Jokes, I've got jokes people ;)
